Instead of telling you all of the reasons why we might be a good fit, here’s a little bit about my life outside of photography.

I’m married to my very best friend and the coolest man I’ve ever met: Andy. We met on Facebook almost a decade ago, and after a couple years of long-distance dating, we got married and traveled the US part-time in a camper van before settling down in the New River Valley of Virginia surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains.

We have two precious kittens (adult baby cats, because they will ALWAYS be our babies) named Echo and Oliver. Echo is full black-cat energy and absolutely convinced she’s the queen of the house. Ollie is the sweetest orange boy: clumsy and accident-prone, with many vet bills to prove it, but he is the most cuddly little angel in the world.

Andy and I recently welcomed our first baby, and we’ve fallen completely in love with parenthood and our new favorite little human!

But more importantly than being a wife, mama, cat mama, and photographer… I’m a Christian. Not a perfect one, but a girl who loves Jesus and has grown to love Him more and more over the past several years. Throughout all of my adventures, both good and bad, I’ve learned how deeply I need Him in both the big moments and the small ones and how faithful He truly is.

That’s why Vine + Branch exists.

I’ve been photographing for six years, but in 2025, I heard the Holy Spirit telling me to give God my business too. Jesus isn’t just part of my life - He is my whole life. Even with daily mistakes, I want Him to be the center of everything I do, not just in my private life.

In the art world, it can be difficult to stay true to your beliefs while running a business. I kept asking myself what was missing - why I was creating beautiful work, but still feeling like there was something more. The missing piece was this: I needed to create beautiful art for God.

Transitioning into a faith-based business felt really scary at first. Would people still book with me? Would those who don’t share my beliefs still feel welcome? The truth is, everything I have, the camera, the skills, the opportunities, already belong to Him. I’m simply giving credit where it’s due now.

So with all of that said, I’m so glad you’ve landed here.
